Powers: Pyrotechnics. He is unable to generate his own power, but he can absorb and redirect any form of energy. He has an accelerated healing power that is still far slower than that of his father's.

Learned skills: Jess learned hand to hand combat from his mother and swordplay from Matthew Brouwer. He's studied several forms of martial arts with Nick Boyle, a co-worker of his brother Thomas and a former Navy Seal.

Born November 10, 1942 to John and Charlotte Logan, Jess is from an alternate timeline (Careless Moments). He was three years old when his father was reported as MIA. Raised and home-schooled by his mother and older brother Thomas, he has been allowed out into the world with supervision. Jess is a closet rebel, devoted to his family, and eager for any new adventure. He takes great delight in behaving like a teenager, but it's only an appearance. He figures if he's going to have the slowed aging of his mother, he might as well enjoy it.

On a trip to New York City with Thomas, Jess met his father in a bar in Salem Center while Thomas talked with an old friend, Dr. Henry McCoy. He alternately credits and blames himself for his parents' reunion.
